 Hi there!
Sorry I've been so lazy with my journal... but srsly, I've been extremely busy (I don't even comment in other communities, snif snif)
but now I'm back with the It group of the moment (according to the blogsphere) The XX.
The XX have some tracks on the net and if I'm correct I heard one of their songs in Gossip Girl. (oohhh did I mention or did you notice that Lissy Trullie's cover of Hot Chip was in Gossip Girl?? pretty cool, right?)
I listened to the whole album XX (pretty original!!) and the tracks that I like the most are these two: Shelter and Basic space.

Enjoy them!

The other day I was watching a program called: Seven ages of Rock (or decades???) in VH1  and the one I saw it was about Punk Rock. Obviously, familiar names were mentioned like Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash, and also, Patti Smith. Now, I've always heard about her but never heard any of her songs, and now I'm in love with this track: from her debut album Horses (1975), Land: Horses / Land of a thousand dances / La Mer (De)
Don't make the same mistake I did, please, listen to her music if you haven't. This is just an appetizer.
Enjoy it!

I'll upload the track pretty soon.

I went out last night, to a Pub, to a B-day, drank 5 Coronas...so I can say that I had a good night.
I'm eating an apple, preparing and thinking what we're going to do 2night. My friends and I want to buy a bottle of Tequila...so that means that we'll get a bit drunk...ahaha but thank God I don't have to work, coz we're celebrating 199 years of Chile's Independence, which is a good excuse to celebrate. So my weekend began last night and will continue till.....saturday. I'll be honest, we're going to have 4 days to drink and that's not bad at all.

Ok, now, I've been listening The Kills albums for two weeks and I ADORE THIS DUO!! The first song that I heard about this duo was Fried my little brains from their album Keep on your mean side, and it was like 5 years ago. Then I fell in love with them after listening  to Fuck the people.
I love all the tracks but these are my fav (from each album):
Keep on your mean side: Superstition, Cat claw, Pull a U, Hitched, Wait, Fuck the people.
No wow: No wow, Love is a deserter, The good ones, Sweet cloud, Murdermile.
Midnight boom: Cheap and cheerful, Getting down, Last day of magic, Black balloon, Sour cherry,What New Yor used to be, Goodnight bad morning.
So now, I'll to share with you their music, if you haven't, then do it.

The end of the movie
turntable
[info]noiamnot
On sunday I watched the movie Disturbia and the track used at the end (when the credits began to appear) caught my attention. It was Kings Of Leon Taper Jean Girl. Now, I really want to know why on earth the best songs are used at the end of the movies, coz if you realize, you go to the movies and when this one finishes, you immediately stand up and leave the cinema and guess what? You've missed an awesome track or a scene of the movie, or an alternative ending... Like the movie 28 days later. Same thing happened when I saw Nick & Norah's infinite playlist , I missed the track Ottoman by Vampire Weekend.

Enjoy these tracks

I've to say that I fell in love with the beats inmediately.
